The Plan helps to protect your beneficiaries against financial hardships that can occur after your death if you are a Full Member and you are contributing to the Plan at the time of your death. (See Membership/Contributions for a description of Full Membership) The Death Benefits that your beneficiaries will be entitled to if you die in Active service is described below.
